Making Nevada Affordable

The rising cost of living is affecting families across Nevada. Housing, childcare, and everyday expenses are placing growing pressure on working families. Tourism must work for workers—not just corporations. I will work to connect tourism growth to higher wages and local hiring, and to promote small business participation in Nevada's tourism economy.

Policy Ideas

  • Incentives for businesses that hire locally and pay living wages

  • Veteran-owned business preference programs

  • Promote policies that reduce cost-of-living pressures

Accountable & Effective Government

To hold myself and our lawmakers accountable, I will ensure fair, transparent legislative processes. No backroom deals—Nevadans deserve to see how decisions are made, and when there’s a tie, I will vote in the best interest of working families.

Policy Ideas

  • Push for transparency in committee assignments and hearings

  • Advocate for bipartisan collaboration

  • Use tie-breaking authority strategically on key issues (education, labor, veterans)

Programs for Veterans

Nevada is home to nearly 200,000 brave men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. However, too many veterans return home to face challenges that should never follow them beyond the battlefield. As Lieutenant Governor, I will champion a Veterans First Agenda that addresses the three most pressing issues facing our veteran community: employment transition, mental health access, and housing stability.

Policy Ideas

  • Expand veteran hiring initiatives across state contracts

  • Expand housing stability and address access to behavioral health for veterans

  • Create a Nevada Workforce Pipeline Initiative to increase veteran job opportunities

Infrastructure and Smart Growth

Nevada’s rapid growth requires infrastructure that keeps pace with our communities. Our roads are in desperate need of repairs and have become unsafe for our residents and visitors. Growth must be planned, not reactive.

Policy Ideas

  • Invest in transportation that supports job access

  • Align infrastructure with economic development goals

  • Expand broadband access across rural Nevada

Economic Development

Nevada’s economy must continue to grow and diversify to provide stable, high-quality jobs to keep up with our rising cost of living.

Policy Ideas

  • Support small business growth and entrepreneurship

  • Attract technology, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing industries

  • Expand workforce training and certification programs
